The Philadelphia Phillies demonstrated their batting dominance from the outset, racking up an astonishing total of 22 hits and maintaining a flawless defensive performance without any errors. Their offensive might was on full display as they notched three runs in the opening inning and followed up with four more in the second inning. The momentum continued into the fifth and sixth innings where they added seven runs to secure their lead firmly.

For Miami, Otto Lopez delivered an outstanding performance amidst his team's struggles, hitting .750 and achieving an on-base percentage of .75. His slugging percentage reached 1.0, making a significant contribution to his overall on-base plus slugging figure of 1.75. Lopez also contributed one run batted in for his team during this tough matchup.

Teammates Connor Norby and Cristian Pache attempted to spark some offense for Miami; both achieved batting averages of .250 but were unable to convert these efforts into meaningful scoring chances as indicated by their on-base plus slugging figures which stood around .5.

From a pitching standpoint, it proved to be a challenging day for Miami's bullpen which found itself overwhelmed by Philadelphia's hitters from start to finish. Xzavion Curry ended with an earned run average of 36.0 along with a walks plus hits per inning pitched ratio of 5.0 but did manage to strike out batters at an impressive rate despite these hurdles.
