Stanford Cardinal's Effort Falls Short Against Colorado Buffaloes at CU Events Center

Their efforts on rebounds were notable as well; grabbing twenty-seven boards including five offensive rebounds which contributed to four second-chance points.

One area where Stanford excelled was at the free-throw line where they achieved a success rate of 70 percent by making fourteen out of twenty attempts. They also showed strength inside by scoring thirty-four points in paint.


In contrast to Stanford's performance, the Colorado Buffaloes demonstrated efficient playmaking and sharpshooting throughout their time on court. They boasted an assist-to-turnover ratio slightly lower than that of Stanford at 1.42 but managed seventeen assists overall and capitalized on turnovers by scoring eleven points off them.

The Buffaloes' field goal accuracy was higher than that of their opponents', standing at an effective rate of 53 percent from all ranges and an impressive three-point completion rate rounding up to about forty-four percent which came from sinking eleven out of twenty-five attempts from distance.


As for rebounding prowess, Colorado surpassed Stanford with thirty-eight total rebounds including six offensive ones that led them to thirteen second-chance points—a significant advantage over their counterparts' output in this aspect.
