Throughout the game, the Angels struggled at bat, managing only five hits and one run across nine innings. Despite their efforts, they couldn't capitalize on their opportunities to score more runs. The team's batting average was a mere .167 for the game, with an on-base percentage (OBP) of .194 and slugging percentage (SLG) at .333. They had three extra-base hits but left eight runners on base (LOB), highlighting their challenges in converting hits into runs.

The sole run for the Angels came in the sixth inning, marking a brief moment where it seemed they might rally back into contention. This run was driven by one of their home runs during the game. However, despite this effort and having two runners in scoring position throughout the match, they failed to bring more runners home.

On defense and pitching fronts, the Angels displayed solid performances despite the loss. Their fielding was error-free with a perfect fielding percentage (FPCT) of 1.0 and seven assists from various positions across nine innings indicating strong defensive plays that kept them competitive throughout most parts of the game.

The bullpen also showed promise by not allowing any earned runs during its time on mound and maintaining an earned run average (ERA) at 0.0 for bullpen pitchers specifically over 1.2 innings pitched which indicates effective relief pitching when called upon.
