Conversely, St Louis struggled offensively throughout much of this matchup despite managing nine hits; they were only able to convert these into two runs late in their effort during sixth and eighth innings respectively due largely because Los Angeles’ defense did not commit any errors while providing solid support behind their pitchers which included eight assists across various plays around diamond ensuring that scoring opportunities for visiting side were kept minimum whenever possible thereby showcasing excellent fielding standards by hosts throughout contest.
