Throughout the game, the Angels struggled to convert their opportunities into scores. They managed to hit six times but failed to bring any runners home. The team's batting average stood at .188 for this game, significantly lower than their opponents'. Despite reaching base seven times through hits and once via walk, they left eleven players stranded on base.

The pitching staff of the Angels had a challenging day on the mound as well. The bullpen allowed four runs over 4.1 innings pitched, which contributed significantly to their defeat. Overall, the pitching team ended with an Earned Run Average (ERA) of 10.125 for this game and gave up nine earned runs across eight innings pitched.

On defense, however, the Angels showed competence by not committing any errors throughout nine innings and maintaining a perfect fielding percentage of 1.000. They also managed one double play during this time.

Conversely, the Mariners capitalized on their scoring opportunities by securing nine hits that led to nine runs. Their offensive performance was highlighted in two key innings where they scored four runs each time—demonstrating effective batting when it mattered most.
