Angels Fall to Brewers 6-3 Despite Late Rally at Angel Stadium

The Los Angeles Angels faced a challenging game against the Milwaukee Brewers, concluding with a 6-3 loss. The Angels' record now stands at 29-44, while the Brewers improved to 43-30. Despite out-hitting the Brewers with nine hits to eight, the Angels could not capitalize on their opportunities, leaving nine runners on base.

The game was marked by a late surge from the Angels in the ninth inning where they scored all three of their runs and collected four hits. However, this rally was not enough to overcome earlier errors and missed chances. The team struggled defensively, committing three errors that contributed to their defeat.

Griffin Canning took the loss for the Angels, dropping his record to 2-8 for the season. His performance saw him give up six runs (five earned) over five innings of work. On a brighter note, the bullpen showed strength with four scoreless innings pitched and an impressive ERA of 0.0 during this period.

For Milwaukee, Tobias Myers earned his fourth win of the season thanks in part to solid pitching that kept Angel hitters at bay through critical moments of the game. Trevor Megill secured his 14th save for Milwaukee in a game that lasted two hours and forty-seven minutes under clear skies at Angel Stadium.

Looking ahead, fans can catch more action as The Los Angeles Angels will host The Milwaukee Brewers once again at Angel Stadium in Anaheim on June 17th at 6:38 PM local time. This upcoming matchup will be broadcasted on BSW for those looking forward to seeing if The Angels can turn their fortunes around in this series continuation.
