The game was marked by a strong showing from the Mariners right from the start, with an aggressive first inning that set the tone for their victory. The Seattle team managed to accumulate 15 hits throughout the game and capitalized on these opportunities to score 11 runs. In contrast, the Angels struggled offensively, managing only five hits and failing to convert any into runs.

For the Angels, Kevin Pillar showed promise by hitting .333 and maintaining an on-base percentage (OBP) of .333. Similarly, Anthony Rendon and Zachary Neto both contributed with batting averages of .333; Rendon had an OBP of .333 while Neto's OBP was higher at .500 due to his ability to draw walks effectively. McKenzie Moniak was another highlight for Los Angeles, achieving an impressive batting average of .667 and an OBP of .667 in his three at-bats.

Jack Kochanowicz started for Los Angeles but faced difficulties early on; he ended his outing with an ERA of 12.00 after allowing multiple runs over just three innings pitched.

Defensively, most players held their ground without errors except Luis Guillorme who encountered challenges in fielding that affected his performance negatively.
