The Angels showed resilience throughout the match. Notably, Zachary Neto and Jordon Adell were standout performers for the team. Neto's batting average soared to .600 after delivering critical hits, including an impressive slugging percentage of 1.4 which contributed significantly to his overall OPS of 2.0. Adell also made his presence felt with an average of .500 and an OPS of 1.1, showcasing his ability to get on base with an OBP (on-base percentage) of .6.

Brandon Drury played a pivotal role in driving runs home for the Angels, ending the game with two RBIs and maintaining a batting average of .333 along with an OPS (on-base plus slugging) of .583. On the defensive side, players like Kevin Pillar and Anthony Rendon ensured stability in fielding by maintaining perfect fielding percentages.

Despite their efforts at bat and on-field defense where they committed no errors throughout ten innings, pitching proved challenging for the Angels as they navigated through both starting and bullpen phases. Griffin Canning started on the mound for Los Angeles but encountered difficulties as evidenced by his ERA (earned run average) standing at 5.143 alongside a WHIP (walks plus hits per inning pitched) ratio indicating some control over allowing base runners but struggled to strike out opponents effectively.

The bullpen saw contributions from Hans Crouse and Hunter Strickland who both managed to keep their ERA at zero during their appearances; however Roansy Contreras suffered from not securing outs when needed most which ultimately contributed towards this narrow loss despite not allowing any earned runs or walks himself.
