First Inning

The Angels set the tone in the first inning with a strong start. Jorge Soler and Nolan Schanuel were instrumental in putting two runs on the board early. Soler's presence was felt as he reached base, setting up Schanuel for a key hit that drove in two runs. This early advantage put pressure on the Dodgers from the outset.

Fourth Inning

In the fourth inning, Luis Rengifo's performance stood out as he contributed significantly to extending the Angels' lead. His consistent hitting allowed Matthew Lugo to capitalize on scoring opportunities, adding another two runs to their tally. The Dodgers managed one run during this period but struggled against Jack Kochanowicz's pitching prowess.

Ninth Inning

The final inning saw a resurgence from both teams but it was ultimately dominated by the Halos. With three hits leading to two more runs for Los Angeles Angels, they solidified their victory over their city rivals. Kenley Jansen and Ryan Zeferjahn effectively closed out any comeback attempts by limiting further damage from Blue’s lineup.

Despite efforts from Freddie Freeman and Mookie Betts who each had notable hits for Bums throughout different innings of play; they were unable to overcome Angel’s strategic plays both offensively & defensively which kept them ahead till endgame whistle blew signaling closure of match-up between these fierce competitors within same city limits!
