The Astros' offense was relentless, accumulating 11 hits throughout the game. Yainer Diaz also made notable contributions by hitting .500 in four at-bats.

On the pitching side, Framber Valdez led as starting pitcher with an impressive showing that contributed to his season's earned run average (ERA) holding steady at 0.00. The Los Angeles Dodgers struggled to find their rhythm against Astros' pitchers, managing only six hits and failing to score any runs throughout all nine innings of play. Despite their efforts, they could not capitalize on scoring opportunities which ultimately left them shut out by game's end.

As for defensive plays, both teams maintained error-free games which underscored a tight defensive matchup; however, it was Houston’s ability to execute offensively that set them apart.
