Pitching Dominance


On the mound, Ryan Gusto delivered an exceptional performance for Houston. He pitched for 5.2 innings with an earned run average (ERA) of just 1.588 and allowed only three hits while striking out six batters without issuing any walks.


The bullpen continued this dominance as Josh Hader closed out the final innings without conceding any runs or walks while striking out three batters across his appearance.

Blue Jays' Lone Response


Toronto's lone response came in the fourth inning when they managed to score one run off two hits against Gusto's pitching efforts but failed to capitalize further due to strong defensive plays by Houston’s fielders such as Jeremy Peña who maintained perfect fielding percentage throughout nine innings played alongside teammates like Jake Meyers whose defensive prowess helped keep Toronto from gaining momentum late into gameplay action sequences seen here today!
