As the middle innings unfolded, both teams settled into more consistent defensive play. Neither team managed to score during these frames, though Houston's bullpen showed resilience by keeping K.C.'s bats relatively quiet after their explosive start.


Seventh Inning


Houston finally found some rhythm in their offense during the seventh inning. The ‘Stros scored twice thanks to timely hitting from players like Yainer Diaz and Jake Meyers who contributed significantly throughout this period. Eighth Inning


In one of their strongest showings of this matchup, Houston rallied again in eighth inning scoring three additional runs while capitalizing on two errors committed by K.C.'s defense which helped narrow down deficit further bringing them closer within striking distance before final frame commenced


Ninth Inning


Despite valiant efforts made late-game comeback attempt fell short ninth when neither side able add any more points scoreboard resulting final scoreline reading favor visitors: Royals emerged victorious over home team Astros with result standing at seven-five respectively
