As both teams settled into their rhythms, innings three through six saw no additional runs scored by either side. The ‘Stros maintained pressure on Seattle’s defense but were unable to convert opportunities into further scores despite accumulating several hits across these innings.


Seventh Inning


By this point in time, pitching became pivotal for both squads. Framber Valdez led Houston’s efforts on the mound with an impressive performance that limited Seattle’s chances and kept them from adding any more runs after their second-inning breakthrough.

Final Innings


Innings eight and nine continued without significant changes in scoring dynamics; however, Josh Hader came through for Houston by securing key outs late into play which ultimately preserved his team’s slim advantage until closing time arrived at Daikin Park.
