First Inning

Second Inning

Third Inning


Houston found some rhythm in their batting lineup during this inning as they scored their first run thanks to two hits. However, Chicago countered effectively by scoring two more runs on two hits, extending their lead over Houston.


Fourth Inning


The fourth inning saw another run from Chicago with one hit added to their tally. Despite having two hits themselves during this period, Houston couldn't capitalize on these opportunities and remained behind in scoring.

Fifth through Seventh Innings


Both teams experienced a lull in scoring from innings five through seven as pitchers dominated play; neither side managed any additional runs or significant offensive breakthroughs during these frames.


Eighth Inning


In an attempt at closing down Chicago’s lead late into playtime -the eighth inning-, Houston scored once again due largely due efforts from players like Jeremy Peña who maintained his impressive .500 average throughout previous games too!
