From the outset, the Braves showed determination. In the first inning alone, they managed to secure two hits and one run. However, despite their efforts and accumulating six hits throughout the game, they struggled to capitalize on these opportunities fully. The team's batting average was a modest .162 for this game with a slugging percentage of .324. Notably, two home runs contributed significantly to their total runs scored.

The Braves' pitching staff had moments of effectiveness but ultimately could not contain the Dodgers' hitters when it mattered most. The bullpen pitched for 4.1 innings with an ERA of 0.0 but allowed two unearned runs due to defensive errors elsewhere on the field. Overall, Atlanta's pitchers ended with an ERA of 1.742 over ten and one-third innings.

On defense, Atlanta was flawless in fielding with no errors recorded and maintained a perfect fielding percentage (FPCT) at 1.0 across thirty-nine total chances (TC). This defensive solidity included eight assists from various positions around the diamond and two double plays executed without fault.

Conversely, the Los Angeles Dodgers capitalized on their scoring opportunities more efficiently despite committing one error during play. Their offense generated nine hits leading to four runs scored across eleven innings—highlighted by timely hitting that brought home runs during critical moments in both tenth and eleventh innings.
