The Braves showcased a strong offensive and defensive performance throughout the game. Orlando Arcia and Ozzie Albies were particularly noteworthy for their contributions. Arcia maintained a perfect fielding percentage and hit an average of .250, while Albies excelled with an impressive batting average of .667, getting on base at a rate of .75.

Starting pitcher Chris Sale contributed significantly to the Braves' victory, recording an earned run average (ERA) of 1.8 over five innings pitched and striking out four batters. His performance was crucial in limiting the Padres' scoring opportunities.

On the other side, the Padres managed to gather eight hits but were only able to convert these into three runs due to effective pitching from the Braves bullpen. Raisel Iglesias and Pierce Johnson from Atlanta's bullpen both held an ERA of 0.0 during their appearances, showcasing their ability to shut down opposing hitters effectively.

Travis d'Arnaud also had an exceptional game for Atlanta, hitting .667 with three runs scored off two hits in just three at-bats. His offensive output provided a significant boost for his team.
