First Inning

The Braves set the tone early at CoolToday Park, scoring three runs in the first inning. Their aggressive start was highlighted by Matt Olson's powerful hitting, contributing significantly to their initial lead. The Tigers struggled to respond as they managed only one hit in this inning.

Fifth Inning

After a quiet stretch from both teams, the fifth inning saw another surge from Atlanta. They added two more runs courtesy of strategic base running and timely hits. Ozzie Albies played a pivotal role here, driving in crucial runs that extended their lead over Detroit.

Sixth and Seventh Innings

The sixth inning further cemented Atlanta's control as they scored two additional runs without allowing any hits from Detroit. The seventh inning saw another run added by Bravos through consistent batting efforts and capitalizing on defensive lapses by Motor City Kitties.

Pitching Dominance

Atlanta's pitching staff delivered an exceptional performance throughout the game. Grant Holmes led with precision pitching that kept Detroit hitters off balance all afternoon. With an impressive overall ERA of 1 and WHIP of 0.78 for this match, Atlanta’s pitchers were instrumental in maintaining control over Tigs' lineup.

Tigers' Lone Highlight

Detroit managed to put one run on the board during the fifth inning but struggled otherwise against a formidable Braves defense that allowed only three hits throughout nine innings.
