The Cardinals did manage some resistance early on by scoring four runs within the first two innings but were unable to sustain that momentum against Milwaukee’s pitchers who settled down nicely after that point.


Bryse Wilson from the bullpen earned his second win without any losses or saves so far this season for his efforts during this contest while Miles Mikolas from St Louis took his third loss against just one win thus far this year.
