The game began with the Brewers setting the tone early, scoring one run in the first inning followed by two more in the second. Their relentless pressure continued through the fifth inning where they added three runs, thanks in part to a critical error by the Rays that allowed Milwaukee to extend their lead. The seventh inning saw another two runs added to Milwaukee's tally, ensuring a comfortable lead.

Milwaukee's hitters were particularly effective, boasting an impressive .313 batting average for the game. They demonstrated patience at the plate with five walks and showcased their speed on bases with five stolen bases out of six attempts. The Brewers' pitching staff also had a commendable performance, holding Tampa Bay to just five hits and two runs over nine innings. Freddy Peralta earned his third win of the season thanks to his efforts from the mound which included striking out thirteen batters across all innings pitched while maintaining an ERA of 2.00 for this game.

On defense, Milwaukee was flawless with no errors recorded and successfully completed one double play. Their fielders supported their pitchers by making crucial plays that prevented Tampa Bay from gaining any momentum throughout the contest.
