From the outset, the Brewers set a high pace with three runs and three hits in the first inning alone. Their performance was consistent and powerful throughout the game, accumulating ten hits. The team's hitting statistics were impressive; they achieved a batting average of .294 and an on-base plus slugging (OPS) rate of .951. Notably, they managed to hit three home runs during the game which significantly contributed to their seven total runs.

The Brewers' pitching was equally formidable. Their bullpen maintained an ERA (Earned Run Average) of 0.0 across five innings pitched, striking out six batters while only allowing three hits from nineteen batters faced. This stellar performance limited the Cardinals to just one run throughout nine innings.

On defense, Milwaukee showed skill and coordination with six assists and one double play while committing only one error which had minimal impact on their overall success.

The Cardinals struggled to find their rhythm against Milwaukee's pitchers but managed to score once in the third inning thanks to one of their six hits for the game. Despite this effort and maintaining zero errors defensively, they couldn't match up against Milwaukee's offensive onslaught or break through their defensive setup effectively.
