The Brewers struggled to find their rhythm at Comerica Park, managing to secure only seven hits and two runs against the Tigers' defense. Despite their efforts, Milwaukee's batters faced challenges throughout the innings, highlighted by their .212 batting average and leaving sixteen runners on base. The team's performance at bat was further underscored by hitting just one double among their seven hits and achieving two runs batted in (RBIs) during critical moments which unfortunately were not enough to turn the tide.

On the pitching side, Milwaukee's bullpen had difficulty containing Detroit's hitters. The Brewers' pitchers ended the game with an earned run average (ERA) of 11.25 over eight innings pitched while allowing ten earned runs and twelve hits. This included one home run that contributed significantly to Detroit’s lead. The pitching staff also struggled with control issues as evidenced by their whip standing at 1.875.

Conversely, the Tigers capitalized on their opportunities especially during a pivotal fifth inning where they scored eight runs which essentially sealed Milwaukee’s fate for this matchup. Tarik Skubal from Detroit played a crucial role in his team's victory by securing his eighth win of the season through effective pitching that kept Brewer hitters at bay most of the time.

As for individual performances from Milwaukee worth noting despite the loss was their ability to maintain discipline at bat resulting in drawing two walks and limiting strikeouts across nine innings played which shows signs of potential adjustments for future games.
