Throughout this closely contested match, the Brewers' lineup managed to secure eight hits that translated into three crucial runs, maintaining a clean sheet with no errors. Their scoring efforts were distributed across various innings - striking first in the second inning, adding another in the fifth, and sealing their final run in the eighth inning. The team's batting prowess was on full display with a collective batting average of .258 alongside an on-base percentage of .361 and a slugging percentage of .355.

William Contreras emerged as a standout performer for Milwaukee, boasting an exceptional batting average of .750 with three hits from four at-bats, significantly bolstering Milwaukee's offensive strategy. Salvatore Frelick also made his mark by hitting .500 and driving in one of Milwaukee's three runs, underlining his ability to deliver under pressure.

On the defensive end, Frankie Montas spearheaded Milwaukee's pitching efforts with an exemplary start that saw him maintain an earned run average of zero over seven innings while allowing just one hit - effectively neutralizing St. Louis' offense. His stellar performance was well-supported by bullpen pitchers Devin Williams and Jared Koenig who both kept their earned run averages at zero during their time on the mound.

Despite facing strong opposition from Milwaukee players, St. Louis remained competitive throughout and nearly turned the tide with a two-run rally off five hits in the eighth inning but ultimately could not overcome their rivals.
