The Milwaukee Brewers faced off against the San Diego Padres in a preseason clash at the Peoria Sports Complex. First Inning

The game began with a bang for the Brewers as they exploded for 4 runs in the opening inning. Andrew Vaughn was instrumental in this offensive surge, contributing significantly with his powerful hitting. Vaughn's performance was complemented by solid efforts from his teammates who collectively managed 4 hits during this period.

Middle Innings

As the game progressed into the middle innings, both teams struggled to add more runs to their tally. The Brewers' bats went silent from innings two through five, while their pitching staff held firm against any potential threats from Slam Diego's lineup. Despite allowing only one run in these frames, Milwaukee's inability to capitalize on scoring opportunities left them vulnerable.

Seventh Inning

In an attempt to regain momentum, Milwaukee managed another run in the seventh inning thanks to Brandon Lockridge’s timely hit that brought home a runner. However, it wasn't enough as San Diego’s defense tightened up and prevented further damage.

Eighth Inning

The eighth inning proved pivotal for San Diego as they mounted an impressive comeback by scoring six runs off nine hits throughout various innings but primarily capitalizing during this frame. This offensive outburst turned the tide decisively against Milwaukee despite strong efforts earlier on by pitchers like Abner Uribe who had shown promise previously.
