First Inning

The opening inning saw both teams struggling to find their rhythm, with neither side managing to score. The Brew Crew's pitching staff held firm, allowing no hits and keeping the Cubbies at bay.

Third Inning

Christian Yelich provided a spark for Milwaukee in the third inning by hitting a solo home run, giving his team an early lead. However, this was short-lived as Chicago responded quickly in their half of the inning. A combination of timely hitting allowed them to level up and eventually surpass Milwaukee's efforts.

Fourth Inning

In what proved to be one of several game-changing plays Brewers vs Cubs witnessed that day, Chicago capitalized on an error by Milwaukee’s defense during this period. This misstep contributed significantly to another run for Chicago, further extending their lead over Milwaukee.

Sixth Inning

The sixth inning saw another surge from Chicago as they added yet another run through strategic base running and effective batting against Brewer’s bullpen pitchers like Logan Henderson who had previously shown promise but struggled under pressure here today.

Despite some solid individual performances such as Andrew Vaughn maintaining defensive integrity throughout these innings without committing any errors himself; it wasn’t enough overall given how well-roundedly consistent offensively speaking -the North Side team remained across all nine innings played out between both sides involved within contextually relevant terms relating back towards our earlier mentioned theme regarding "Brewers vs Cubs recap."
