Cardinals' Bats Silenced as Orioles Capitalize on Third-Inning Burst

The game began with both teams showing strong defensive efforts. In the first inning, each team managed just one hit without scoring any runs. The second inning saw no hits or runs from either side, maintaining a scoreless tie.

Despite their best efforts, the Cardinals struggled at bat throughout the game. They recorded only two hits over four innings and were unable to bring any runners home. Brendan Donovan and Nolan Arenado were among those who reached base but couldn't convert these opportunities into scores.


St. Louis' pitching staff had mixed results; they allowed five hits but managed three strikeouts without giving up any earned runs due to solid fielding support despite one error committed during play.
