On defense, Michael Siani maintained perfect fielding statistics alongside Masyn Winn and Nolan Gorman among others who ensured no errors were recorded on their part during this intense matchup.


Despite these individual performances contributing positively towards their team's effort throughout nine innings plus extra time, it was ultimately not enough to overcome the Pirates' strategy which led them to victory by just one run after ten innings.
