Can Cardinals Overcome Marlins' Dominance at Busch Stadium?

First Inning

Second Inning


The second inning saw the Fish take control as they scored two runs on three hits. The Cards struggled to respond offensively and managed only one hit without scoring any runs.


Fifth Inning


By the fifth inning, Miami added another run to their tally with two more hits. Meanwhile, St. Louis continued to face difficulties at bat despite getting another hit during this period.


Sixth Inning


Miami extended their lead further in the sixth inning by scoring two additional runs on three hits. This put significant pressure on St. Louis as they failed to capitalize on their opportunities and remained scoreless despite recording yet another hit.


Ninth Inning


As the game entered its final stages, both teams were unable to add any more runs or hits during innings seven through nine. Ultimately, Miami emerged victorious with a final score of 5-0 against St. Louis.
