Fourth Inning

The game remained scoreless for both teams until the fourth inning when each team managed to get on the scoreboard. The Cards scored their first run of the game, but it was quickly matched by a run from the Amazins. The Cardinals' offensive efforts were led by José Fermín, who contributed significantly with his consistent batting average of .333.

Fifth Inning

The fifth inning proved pivotal as it saw an explosive performance from New York's lineup, scoring five runs and taking control of the game. Despite solid pitching from Tink Hence earlier in his outing with an impressive strikeout rate (k9) of 13.5 in previous games, he couldn't contain this surge.

Seventh Inning

In response to New York's lead, St. Louis added another run in this inning thanks to Nathan Church's contribution at bat; however, defensive errors plagued their efforts throughout.

Eighth and Ninth Innings

As we moved into these innings, New York continued their dominance by adding six more runs across both innings combined. The Redbirds struggled defensively with two errors contributing further damage during these frames.

Despite some promising individual performances like Joshua Baez maintaining his batting average (.500), overall team execution fell short against relentless pressure applied by opponents’ offense throughout all nine innings played out here today - highlighting key areas needing improvement before next matchups come around soon enough!
