Cubs Shut Out in Atlanta, Braves Secure 2-0 Victory at Truist Park

Throughout the game, the Cubs struggled to convert their opportunities into runs. Despite accumulating five hits over nine innings, they were unable to score. The pitching staff for the Cubs showed mixed results. On defense, Chicago displayed proficiency by not committing any errors throughout nine innings while successfully turning ten assists.


Conversely, the Braves managed to secure their victory through timely hitting in the sixth inning where they scored both runs off three hits. Their pitchers effectively shut down Chicago's lineup, highlighted by Ray Kerr who was credited with his first win of the season due to his performance from the bullpen.
