For the Cubs, standout performances came from Pete Crow-Armstrong and Cody Bellinger, both of whom boasted impressive batting averages of .667. The Phillies' offensive strategy paid off in crucial moments throughout the game. Their scoring was highlighted by two runs in both the sixth and eighth innings which ultimately sealed their victory over Chicago.


Defensively, Nico Hoerner stood out for Chicago with flawless fielding statistics but couldn't contribute significantly at bat this time around.
