Fifth Inning

The fifth inning proved pivotal for the North Side team as they exploded offensively. Scoring all five of their runs during this frame, they capitalized on five hits and demonstrated impressive batting prowess that left Miami's defense scrambling. This surge was marked by strategic hitting and effective base running that overwhelmed the Fish Tank's pitching staff.

Seventh Inning

In response, Miami found some momentum in the seventh inning when they scored two runs off two hits. Despite this effort from Miami’s lineup, it was not enough to close the gap created by Chicago’s earlier offensive burst.
