Can Diamondbacks' Pitching Silence Rockies' Bats Again at Chase Field?

The Arizona Diamondbacks emerged victorious against the Colorado Rockies with a commanding 8-0 win, improving their record to 24-21. The Rockies, on the other hand, continued their struggles with a record of 7-37. The game was held at Chase Field in front of an attendance of 35,204 fans.

First Inning


The opening inning saw both teams starting cautiously. The D-Backs managed to get one hit but couldn't convert it into runs. Meanwhile, the Rox also had one hit but were unable to capitalize as well.


Second Inning


In the second inning, Arizona's offense began to find its rhythm. They scored two runs off two hits, setting the tone for what would be a dominant performance throughout the game.

The third inning saw another run added by the Snakes as they continued to build their lead over Colorado. Their pitching staff kept things tight and did not allow any hits from the Blake Street Bombers during this period.

Both teams went scoreless in these innings; however, Arizona's pitchers remained steadfast by allowing no additional hits from Colorado during this stretch.
