From the outset, the Dodgers established control with an early lead in the first inning and built upon it in subsequent innings. The team's offensive statistics were particularly noteworthy; they achieved a .382 batting average and an on-base percentage of .462. The Dodgers' hitters also showcased power and precision, accumulating four extra-base hits and driving in five runs throughout the game.

Los Angeles' pitching staff complemented their hitters' efforts by delivering a commanding performance on the mound. Starter Ryan Yarbrough earned his second win of the season while maintaining an impeccable earned run average (ERA) of 2.0 across nine innings pitched. The bullpen was equally effective, with Joe Kelly securing his fourth hold of the year without conceding any runs during his time on field.
