The Dodgers started strong in the first inning, scoring all three of their runs and amassing four hits. However, their offense stalled for the remainder of the game as they failed to add to their early lead. Overall, the team managed seven hits but was hindered by two costly errors. Despite having opportunities to score, including five at-bats with runners in scoring position and leaving five team members on base overall, they could not capitalize further.

On the pitching side for the Dodgers, their bullpen faced challenges as evidenced by allowing four runs over five innings pitched with an ERA of 5.4 for this period. The bullpen's WHIP stood at an elevated 2.2 due to eight hits allowed and three walks during these innings.

Notably for individual performances among Dodgers players: Will Smith stood out offensively with an impressive batting average of .500 from four at-bats and contributed one run; Miguel Rojas also made his mark hitting .333 and reaching base half of his appearances; Teoscar Hernández drove in one RBI while maintaining a .250 batting average.

Conversely, the Tigers gradually built up their score after remaining scoreless through three innings. They broke through in the fourth inning with one run followed by another single run in the sixth before securing two decisive runs in the ninth inning amidst two errors committed by Los Angeles during that frame.
