The Dodgers showcased a strategic offensive and defensive play throughout the game. Their performance was highlighted by significant contributions from key players. On the pitching side for the Dodgers, River Ryan's efforts were noteworthy as he recorded an earned run average (ERA) of 1.588 over his appearance while striking out opponents at a rate of nearly 13 per nine innings pitched – showcasing his dominance on the mound with a WHIP (Walks plus Hits per Inning Pitched) standing at .8824.

The Astros managed to put up some resistance despite their loss. They scored two runs in the sixth inning but struggled to capitalize further due to strong pitching from the Dodgers' bullpen which maintained an ERA of just 2.7 across more than three innings pitched.
