Key contributions came from several players; notably, Teoscar Hernández hit an impressive .500 with his performance at bat contributing significantly to the team's success. Thomas Edman also stood out with a batting average of .400 and an extraordinary slugging percentage of 1.6, including hitting a home run every 2.5 at-bats.


Miguel Rojas was another standout performer for the Dodgers, achieving a batting average of .667 and reaching base three-quarters of his plate appearances. Max Muncy added to Chicago's woes by hitting a home run and boasting an on-base plus slugging (OPS) rate of 2.75.

Cubs' Effort Falls Short


Despite putting up eight runs against one of baseball's best teams, The Chicago Cubs struggled to contain The Los Angeles offense. Their pitchers allowed ten earned runs over nine innings pitched which proved too much for their hitters to overcome despite scoring four runs in one inning themselves.
