Did Dodgers' Seventh Inning Rally Fall Short Against Yankees at Dodger Stadium?

First Inning


The game began with both teams displaying strong defensive efforts. The Yankees managed to score their first run early, taking advantage of two hits and an error by the Dodgers. Despite this setback, the Blue's defense held firm for most of this inning, preventing further damage.


Second Inning


In response, during their turn at bat in the second inning, Los Angeles managed to level things up with a run of their own. They recorded two hits but were unable to capitalize further due to some solid pitching from New York's bullpen.

Third Inning


The third inning saw a significant shift as New York's offense came alive. The Bronx Bombers scored three runs on three hits, putting pressure on Los Angeles' starting pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto who struggled throughout his outing with an ERA of 9.818 and WHIP of 2.7273.


Fourth and Fifth Innings
