First Inning

The game began with both teams displaying strong defensive plays. The Giants managed to score an early run thanks to a solid hit from Dominic Smith, who contributed significantly with his .200 batting average and one RBI. However, the Guardians' defense held firm and prevented further scoring opportunities for the home team.

Third Inning

In this inning, both teams showcased their offensive capabilities. The Giants added another run to their tally through strategic hitting and base running. Meanwhile, the Tribe responded with a run of their own as they capitalized on a rare fielding error by Willy Adames of the Orange and Black.

Fourth Inning

The fourth inning saw increased pressure from both sides as they sought to gain an advantage. Cleveland's offense came alive with three hits that resulted in another crucial run for them. Despite efforts from San Francisco's pitching staff led by Robbie Ray, who maintained an ERA of 4.5 over six innings pitched, containing Cleveland's momentum proved challenging.

Sixth Inning

Cleveland extended their lead further during this period when they managed another run off one hit against San Francisco’s bullpen which had been performing well up until then; Erik Miller notably kept his ERA at zero across appearances but couldn't prevent this breakthrough moment for Cleveland.

Ninth Inning

As tension mounted towards closing stages under night skies above Oracle Park – where attendance reached over thirty-six thousand fans – neither side could alter scoreboard again despite valiant attempts especially highlighted by Mike Yastrzemski’s impressive .750 average throughout match-up alongside Rafael Devers’ consistent performance (.400). Ultimately though it was not enough turn tide back favorably toward home crowd favorites known affectionately around league circles simply 'G-Men'.
