First Inning

The game began with both teams struggling to find their rhythm. The Giants were unable to capitalize on their opportunities, leaving runners on base without scoring. Meanwhile, the Snakes managed to put one run on the board due to a fielding error by San Francisco.

Third Inning

In this inning, Casey Schmitt provided a glimmer of hope for the Orange and Black with a solo home run. This marked Schmitt's only hit in three at-bats but showcased his ability to deliver under pressure. Unfortunately for San Francisco, this would be their only run of the game.

Sixth Inning

The sixth inning proved pivotal as Arizona unleashed an offensive barrage that overwhelmed San Francisco's bullpen. The D-Backs scored six runs off five hits and capitalized on another error by SF's defense. This surge effectively sealed Arizona's victory as they extended their lead significantly.

Eighth Inning

Arizona added one more insurance run during this inning while maintaining tight defensive play against any potential comeback from SF. Despite efforts from players like Drew Gilbert and Patrick Bailey who each had three at-bats but failed to reach base safely, it was clear that momentum favored Arizona throughout these late stages.
