First Inning

The Athletics came out swinging in the first inning, scoring two runs on three hits. This early offensive burst put pressure on the Giants' starting pitcher, but he managed to limit further damage. Despite this initial setback, the G-Men's bullpen was ready to take control.

Third Inning

The Orange and Black began their comeback in the third inning when they scored their first run of the game. With three hits in this inning alone, including contributions from Drew Gilbert and Luis Matos, they started chipping away at Oakland's lead.

Middle Innings

By maintaining consistent pressure through innings four to six, San Francisco added one run per inning. Rafael Devers played a pivotal role with his disciplined approach at bat that contributed significantly during these middle innings. Meanwhile, Trevor McDonald showcased his pitching prowess by keeping Oakland hitters off balance and preventing any additional runs.

Seventh Inning Onwards

As we moved into later innings, it was clear that San Francisco's bullpen was dominating; they did not allow any more runs after those initial two by Oakland. JT Brubaker stood out with his impressive performance on the mound—striking out eight batters across multiple innings without conceding a single hit or walk.
