The Guardians started strong at their home venue, Goodyear Ballpark. They racked up three hits and two runs in the first inning alone. Their momentum continued into the third and fourth innings where they added another three hits and two runs respectively. The team's batting average was impressive at .314 for this game, demonstrating their ability to connect with pitches consistently.

Cleveland's hitters showed resilience throughout the match-up. With a total of 35 at-bats and five extra-base hits contributing to their slugging percentage of .457, they kept pressure on Milwaukee's defense. The team also showcased speed on bases with a successful stolen base attempt maintaining a perfect steal percent rate.

On defense, Cleveland maintained error-free play while recording eight assists and turning one double play which speaks volumes about their fielding capabilities. However, despite these efforts and having left seven runners on base by Milwaukee’s bullpen pitchers who faced 19 batters over four innings pitched giving up four hits resulting in five earned runs.

Milwaukee’s hitters may have been less frequent but were more effective when it counted most – especially during the fourth inning where they scored three runs from just two hits followed by another two-run burst in the sixth inning from another pair of hits; then sealing victory with three more runs off two final ninth-inning hits.

Looking ahead for Cleveland fans eager to support their team: The next scheduled game for Guardians will be against Colorado Rockies at Salt River Fields at Talking Stick located in Scottsdale Arizona on March 19th starting promptly at 1:10 PM (MST).
