This momentum carried into the fourth inning where they exploded for three runs off three hits. A pivotal moment occurred in the sixth inning when two errors by the White Sox contributed to another three-run burst by the Guardians, solidifying their lead.

Their power at the plate was on full display with two home runs contributing significantly to their seven-run tally. Despite an overall batting average of .156 for this game, they made their hits count, especially with runners in scoring position where they had a .400 batting average (2 hits out of 5 at-bats).
