The Guardians managed to gather six hits throughout the game but were only able to convert these into two runs. Their scoring was concentrated in the third inning where they capitalized on two hits to bring home both runs. The team's hitting statistics reveal a batting average of .200 and an on-base percentage (OBP) of .250 for this game. Despite their efforts at bat, which included four extra-base hits and one home run, they left eight runners on base (LOB), highlighting missed opportunities to score.

On the pitching side, Cleveland's bullpen had its moments but ultimately couldn't hold back the Marlins' offense entirely. The bullpen allowed one run over two innings pitched with an earned run average (ERA) of 4.5 for this segment of the game. Overall, Guardians pitchers faced 34 batters across eight innings pitched and ended up with an ERA of 3.375 for the day.

The Miami Marlins found just enough offense to edge out their victory, totaling seven hits that led to three runs scored over nine innings played. Their decisive moment came in the eighth inning when they managed three hits that resulted in one crucial run breaking what was then a tie game.

Looking ahead, fans can catch more action as The Cleveland Guardians are set to host The Kansas City Royals at Progressive Field in Cleveland on June 6th at 1:10 PM Eastern Time. This upcoming match will be broadcasted on BSKC network for those looking forward to following it live.
