The Guardians' performance was nothing short of spectacular, as they amassed a total of nine hits throughout the game. Their offense was on full display right from the start, scoring one run in the first inning followed by two more in the second. They didn't stop there; a three-run burst in the fifth inning further solidified their lead. The sixth and seventh innings saw them adding one run each to their tally, ensuring an insurmountable lead over the Mariners.

Cleveland's hitters were particularly effective with runners in scoring positions, achieving five hits out of eight attempts which contributed significantly to their eight runs batted in (RBI). Notably, six RBIs came with two outs on the board, demonstrating clutch performance under pressure. The team also excelled on bases, successfully stealing three bases without being caught once.

On the pitching side, Tanner Bibee's contribution cannot be overstated. He earned his fifth win of the season thanks to his outstanding performance that kept Seattle's hitters at bay throughout his time on the mound. Overall, Cleveland's pitchers combined for an ERA of 0.0 across nine innings while striking out fourteen batters and maintaining a WHIP (Walks plus Hits per Inning Pitched) of just 0.5556.
