Pitching Dominance

On the pitching front, Joseph Cantillo led by example for the Guardians. His stellar performance included an earned run average (ERA) of just 1.286 across seven innings pitched—a testament to his control and efficiency on the mound. Cantillo's efforts were complemented by Emmanuel Clase’s remarkable pitching from relief where he maintained an ERA of 0.0 while striking out batters at a rate of eighteen per nine innings.

The bullpen collectively held strong against pressure moments despite allowing two runs towards the latter part of the game but managed to maintain their lead thanks to strategic pitching changes and solid defense which did not commit any errors throughout nine innings.
