First Inning

The game began with both teams showing strong defensive plays. The Guardians managed to get two hits but were unable to convert them into runs. The Giants, on their part, had no hits in this inning as both teams remained scoreless.

Third Inning

Cleveland's offense came alive in the third inning when José Ramírez drove in a run with one of his three hits for the day. This gave the Tribe an early lead and showcased Ramírez's consistent performance at bat. However, despite having three hits during this period, they could not extend their lead further.

Seventh Inning

The turning point of the game occurred during this inning when San Francisco's bats finally woke up. The Orange and Black capitalized on two crucial hits that resulted in two runs being scored against Cleveland's bullpen. Despite Nic Enright’s efforts from previous games where he maintained an impressive ERA of 0.0 and WHIP of 3.0, it was Matt Festa who struggled on this occasion with an ERA of 54.0 from his last outing.

Ninth Inning

As tension mounted towards game's end, neither team managed additional scoring opportunities; however, Steven Kwan stood out for Cleveland by maintaining a batting average of .750 across four appearances at bat throughout these innings—demonstrating why he remains integral within their lineup despite limited offensive support around him today.
