The Mariners stepped onto the field at Salt River Fields at Talking Stick with determination. Despite committing three errors throughout the game, they managed to keep pace with the Diamondbacks. The Seattle team's hitting statistics were notable; they achieved an on-base percentage (OBP) of .333 and a slugging percentage (SLG) of .514. Their batting average was .257 for the game.

Seattle's performance was highlighted by their extra-base hits tallying five in total which included two home runs contributing significantly to their run batted in (RBI) count of three. These homers proved pivotal as they came during the ninth inning, pushing the Mariners to tie up the scoreline.

On base, Seattle showed mixed results with one stolen base out of two attempts – showcasing an aggressive yet calculated approach on the basepaths. In terms of pitching, Seattle's bullpen recorded an earned run average (ERA) of 3.6 over five innings pitched while striking out eight batters and maintaining a walks plus hits per inning pitched (WHIP) of .8.

Fielding was less than perfect for Seattle as they registered three errors which affected their fielding percentage that stood at .919 by game end. However, their seven assists demonstrated some resilience on defense despite these missteps.

The Diamondbacks matched up closely but had fewer hits totaling six for the day and committed one error defensively. Arizona's pitchers held up against Seattle's hitters limiting them to just three runs over nine innings while striking out nine Mariners along the way.

As fans look forward to more action from their team, they can mark their calendars for when the Mariners will next take on Milwaukee Brewers at Peoria Sports Complex located in Peoria, AZ on March 22nd at 1:10 PM MST. This upcoming encounter promises another exciting chapter in preseason baseball that fans can follow live from Peoria Sports Complex or tune into local broadcasts for live coverage.
