Will Mariners Ride the Wave of Momentum Against Cubs at T-Mobile Park?

As the Seattle Mariners prepare to host the Chicago Cubs at T-Mobile Park, fans are eager to see if their team can continue its recent upswing. The Mariners have shown a mixed bag of results in their past games, but there's an undercurrent of potential that suggests they could take control of the upcoming matchup.

In their most recent game against the Cleveland Guardians, Seattle emerged victorious with a 5-4 win. The bullpen played a crucial role, maintaining a low ERA of 2.455 and showcasing an impressive WHIP (walks plus hits per inning pitched) of just 0.5455 over 3.2 innings pitched. Emerson Hancock secured his first win with solid pitching, while Andrés Muñoz and Gabe Speier held onto their holds effectively.

However, in an earlier game against Boston Red Sox, Seattle struggled at bat with an average of just .129 and managed only one run compared to Boston's five. Despite this setback, the Mariners' fielding remained error-free and showcased a perfect fielding percentage (FPCT).

The team showed resilience in another encounter with Boston where they won in extra innings by scoring three runs in the tenth for a final score of 4-3. Once again demonstrating strong defense without errors and securing another win for Tayler Saucedo from the bullpen.

T-Mobile Park has been favorable to Seattle; it’s where they've shown both grit and grace under pressure. With its retractable roof ensuring no game delays due to weather conditions and providing consistent playing conditions for players on both sides – it stands as more than just home advantage; it's where Mariners have crafted comebacks and clinched tight games.
