Mariners' Pitching and Defense: A Closer Look

The Mariners' pitching staff had an impressive outing with a collective ERA of 0.9 over ten innings, demonstrating their ability to keep the team competitive against a formidable Yankees lineup. Starter Bryce Miller contributed six innings of work with an ERA of 1.5 and striking out batters at an impressive rate of nearly 12 per nine innings. The bullpen was equally effective; Collin Snider stood out despite taking the loss, posting an ERA of 0.0 across four innings while maintaining a WHIP of just 0.5.
