Despite efforts from Eduard Bazardo and Josh Fleming out of bullpen who encountered challenges as reflected in their ERAs (13.5 and 18 respectively), it was clear that maintaining control over Padres’ hitters proved difficult for Mariners’ pitching staff overall.
